Van Delft Leadership Coaching with Saskia

Leadership is rarely about capabilities, always about clarity.

I'm an Executive Leadership Coach working with leaders who are ready to think differently, about themselves, their impact, and how they make a difference for their teams, their people, their organisations, and their clients.

You won't need to translate your world for me.

With over twenty years in senior Human Resources roles, across corporate settings, small and medium-sized organisations, and as a business owner and senior HR consultant, I've led teams across multiple countries, cultures, and geographies.

I've been part of senior management teams, navigated the complexity of leading at scale, and lived the realities of constant change, vision, strategy, and culture.

Meet your coach

Hi, I'm Saskia.

For me, coaching is a reflective dialogue where you explore your own thinking, make meaningful decisions, and take action, guided by what matters most to you and to the business.

I use an integrative, systemic coaching style that draws on several schools, Gestalt, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and solution-focused, not from a fixed framework, but from what the moment calls for.

About Me

Saskia van Delft

I'm an Executive Leadership Coach working with leaders who are ready to think differently, about themselves, their impact, and how they make a difference for their teams, their people, their organisations, and their clients.

You won't need to translate your world for me.

I'm a lifelong learner, and that passion shows in my commitment to leadership development, as a facilitator, programme designer, and now as a coach.

Why I coach

A real, direct difference

After my final role as International Director of Human Resources, I knew it was time for a shift. I had spent over two decades shaping leadership from inside organisations, and I wanted to make a real, direct difference. Coaching was the natural next step: working one-on-one with leaders to help them see more clearly, lead more intentionally, and make a lasting impact on the people and businesses around them.

I consciously choose to coach in a business environment because leaders shape so much, business results, culture, employee engagement, and the day-to-day experience of everyone around them. Having worked in Human Resources across industries, countries, and cultures, I've seen firsthand the extraordinary impact of strong leadership. I want to be part of making more of it happen.

What else

Quality of life, by design

I live in the south of Portugal with my husband and our three dogs. We moved here nine years ago from the Netherlands, ready for a real change, and we took it all the way, even running a B&B. It's kind of a paradise: blue skies (mostly), beautiful beaches, and a very cold Atlantic Ocean.

I'm a tennis and padel enthusiast, playing three times a week, and I love cycling, on an electric bike, obviously, being Dutch. My favourite food is anything vegetarian that reaches haute-cuisine level and makes me think I could never make this, ideally paired with a nice white wine.

Quality of life is a top priority. It shapes how I live, and it shapes how I coach.

How we'll work together

The Coaching Journey

I work one-on-one with senior leaders, in English and Dutch. There's no single approach or methodology, I use an integrative, systemic coaching style that draws on several schools (Gestalt, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and solution-focused), not from a fixed framework, but from what the moment calls for.

What I bring is a clear awareness of the power of presence. I aim to be fully present, creating a space of psychological safety where you can explore new thinking, situations, and experiences you might not usually have the opportunity to address. In short: I help leaders raise their game through transformative shifts in mindset and capability.
